Terry Gilliam - Staging the Unstageable - Berlioz' The Damnation of Faust

About two weeks prior to the opening, The Guardian's Andrew Dickson sat down with a freshly shorn (lookin' good) Terry Gilliam, as well as the stars of THE DAMNATION OF FAUST, Christopher Purves, Peter Hoare and Christine Rice. In this brief interview, Gilliam talks about staging the unstageable. Also included here are a few glimpses of the piece in performance. And hopefully in addition to the BBC4 broadcast of the opera later this year, there will also be a forthcoming DVD... and ah hem, Region 1 if possible (nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more).
